Push-In Vs Push-Back

Our newspapers and government always praise and encourage the so-called heroism and braveness of BDR about preventing push-in. But actually it is not heroism, it is selfishness. If you can prevent the attack of enemy forces and punish the oppressors, that will be heroism and braveness. But pushing back the oppressed and weak people has not any credit or braveness. Our push-back is more brutality than their push-in. It is a humanitarian issue. Any oppressed people has right to get shelter and assistance. If you have no sympathy for the oppressed people, you would never get the help of Allah. Our prophet (S.) said, “If you help your brother, Allah will help you.”

Besides, push-back is not a solution of push-in. Remember that, in 1971 when the Bangladeshi people flee to the India, the Indian authority did not push back them. They take it as an advantage, motivate them by giving shelter & assistance and use them by giving arms & training. Now we also should take the same policy to punish the enemy. Our action must be against criminals, not against victims.

It is very painful to think that, we cannot prevent the Anti National activities. We cannot prevent the entry of RAW agents. We cannot prevent the border killings by the BSF. We cannot prevent smuggling and drug trafficking. We can only feel proud by preventing the helpless oppressed people!

May Allah bless our governments and authority, and help them to take right and proper decision.
