Mine Destroy of Bangladesh Army

Bangladesh Army has destroyed all of their landmines under international pressure. Bangladesh expose proud for becoming only one mine-free country of South Asia. But is it a proud for Bangladesh at all? It has nothing to proud or honour, but a real example of foolishness, cowardness and weakness.

The landmines of Bangladesh Army was not threat for the people of own country. Because, these mines was not deployed any public places in Bangladesh. It was stored in Army depots. Landmines were only a blockade against foreign military invasion. Bangladesh has no intention or ability to invade any other country. There was no probability for Bangladesh to supply or sell these mines to any other countries or warring groups. Besides, the landmine is not suitable to use against any foreign country. It is a defensive weapon rather that offensive weapon. Entering into enemy territory and set landmine in there is difficult. If anybody can capture any enemy territory, he has no need to set mine in occupied territory, when he has already gained. Landmines are only suitable to protect own territory from enemy offensive. Bangladesh Army has no ability to involve in direct combat with any foreign invaders. We have no nuclear bomb or long range missile. Besides, our geographical condition is not suitable for guerrilla war. We had only one way^__ Set landmines on the way of advancing enemy troops and halt their offensive. Landmines and roadside bombs have been proved most effective in Iraqi Resistance. If the imperialists have no intention to invade Bangladesh, why they are afraid about our mines and press us to destroy all of our landmines? Could you believe that, the foreign masters have suggested us to destroy our mines for their anxious about the safety of Bangladeshi people? If they do it for the Bangladeshi people, why they not destroy their own landmine? Are they loves our people than their own people?

Mine destroy is a red signal for our nation. Mine destroy and militant bomb attacks all are happened to facilitate foreign military aggression. Bomb attack has happened to make excuse to launch military invasion. Mine has been destroyed to remove barricade from the path of invasion and make ease the military aggression.

Our enemies consider two things as an obstacle in the way of aggression^__ Bangladesh Army and Jihadi minded religious people. By mine destroying, they have ensured to weaken the army. By militancy and terrorist bombing, they want to eliminate Jihadi power by misusing Jihadi spirit, removing Jihadi spirit from the people by create displeasure towards Jihad and expel the real Mujahideen. They also want to create face to face combat between Army and Mujahideen, which will weaken and destroy both powers. Invaders want to dismantle all resistance power before their invasion.

Iraq has not get relieve despite their weapons destroy. The invasion over Iraq was only started, when the last missile of Iraq destroyed. So, destroying our mines could not save us from the enemy attack.

If the landmines are a threat for our own people, would our people become safe from landmines by destroying our own mines? When American cluster bombs will dropped from the air to the ground of all over the country, where would our public safety?

One side, we spend billions of dollars for buying Aircrafts, which is not suitable for our defence; because they would not able to face to face fighting with any powerful enemy Air Force. On other side, we have destroyed our landmines, which were already exists in our hand and were most suitable weapon for our defence from any kind of enemy.

It is a common sense that, our defence must be applied by our own interest and own strategy. Our defence could not be determined by the willing and instructions of our enemy.

After all, destroying our landmines is a suicidal decision. It is signing our death penalty in our own hand. It has broken our last line of defence.
